The eighth release in Takara Tomy’s Dramatic Capture Series brings together Grimlock, leader of the Dinobots, and his creator Ratchet in a two-figure set inspired by their appearances in Transformers.

Grimlock transforms from robot mode into a mechanical Tyrannosaurus, while Ratchet converts from robot mode into an ambulance. In addition to their respective weapons, the set includes a sword for Grimlock and multiple flame effect parts that can be used to recreate the memorable fire-breathing scenes from the series.

Both figures feature a premium finish based on their on-screen colors. Grimlock uses metallic paint for a heavier, more imposing appearance, while Ratchet receives enhanced paint applications in vehicle mode to more closely reproduce his ambulance design.
