Refund policy

Maple and Mangoes, a small family-owned Calgary business, pride ourselvesĀ onĀ providingĀ you with best-quality products that we can proudly offer. Each item is carefully inspected and handled with utmost care, thinking of the person who is purchasing and receiving it.

If a product is defective, the manufacturer's warranty applies. If none is specified, we offer a 7-day warranty on our products.

Return Policy and Procedures

Please email us atĀ contactus@mapleandmangoes.caĀ with your product concerns within 7 days of purchase.Ā For a Return, kindly ship back the product in its original state, unused, in original packaging and in resalable condition. Shipping charges are to be shouldered by the purchaser. If the item is delivered or picked up, kindly bring them back to our address.Ā Items that are opened, damaged and/or not in resalable condition may not be eligible for a refund.Ā We will notify you once we’ve reviewed your concern, received and inspected the return package, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method.Ā RefundsĀ are subject to non-refundable 15% restocking fees.Ā Please remember it can take 5-7 business days for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund to your original payment method.

No returns or exchanges on gift cards or digital downloads.

Ordering multiples of the same item, for example buying 2 or more of the same product, would trigger a final sale and no returns would be accepted. This is to prevent unfair customers from buying more than they need, choose the best one and return the rest.

Cancellation Policy

PleaseĀ send us an email atĀ contactus@mapleandmangoes.ca with your concerns. We genuinely always want to keep you delighted but we understand sometimes you may have valid reasons to cancel your order. Our general cancellation policies will apply should you change your mind especially on pre-order items. If the order has not been shipped, we will charge aĀ 5% cancellation fee for pre-orders, 15% cancellation fee for in-stock items, 15% cancellation fee for pre-orders paid through Sezzle Buy Now Pay Later or Shop Instalments, or 25% cancellation fee for in-stock items paid through Sezzle Buy Now Pay LaterĀ or Shop Instalments. Putting your refund to store credit will avoid these fees.

Pre-orders

Pre-orders are immediately processed on your payment card once your order is confirmed. The estimated arrival date is noted on the product page. Please note that arrival dates of pre-order items are estimated dates given to us by the manufacturer and may be subject to change at any time due to possible, and often likely, manufacturer delays. We will update you via email once we have received the item at our office and process shipping of your items as soon as possible. Cancellation of pre-orders if not yet shipped are also subject to non-refundable 5% credit card processing fees or 15% cancellation fee if paid through Sezzle. Cancellation of pre-order items have already been notified to be in stock are subject to non-refundable 15% restocking fee or 25% restocking fee if paid by Sezzle Buy Now Pay Later.

Box Condition

There may be some unavoidable minor issues to the packaging of items such as scrapes, rubbing, dings, dents, creases, tears, etc. To some, these maybe unacceptable especially to box collectors. However, manufacturers nor Maple and Mangoes guarantee the quality of packaging of items. These box or original packaging issues are common and not considered damaged items. Damaged or defective products generally have nothing to do with the condition of the packaging that they arrive in.

As much as we want to keep our customers delighted, we ship our products Standard Grade unless stated in the description. WeĀ have another collectible packaging classification of Substandard Grade Box and we put as much information in the product description page.

Standard Grade Box:

Fresh out of the case as received from the manufacturer. Includes mint, near-mint, or with only minor issues such as scrapes, rubbing, dings, dents, or creases. These don’t take away from the overall appearance of the packaging and are suitable for opening or for display in their package.

Substandard Grade Box:

Packaging or window box has dents and tears that are unappealing to display in their package but the action figure itself is not defective. Recommended for Open Box Collectors.

What we strive to do is to minimize any damage that may possibly occur during the process of shipping, of which these packaging issues are most likely to occur. We customize our shipping boxes, put bubble wraps, put strong outer polymailer plastic bags and also a fragile sticker outside, and these are all free services. We have been recycling our manufacturers boxes and customizing shipping boxes for every order sized to fit the products as shipping costs are based on weight and dimensions, and we only charge a flat rate fee or free shipping.

We do not offer exchange, discounts, or refund for box packaging issues. Unfortunately, neither Maple and Mangoes nor manufacturers guarantee the quality of packaging of items, only the product inside.
